Park Rynie crash leaves one dead
The driver of a bakkie with eight occupants lost control of the vehicle on the N2 near Park Rynie last Saturday. One man sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on scene. The driver of a bakkie with eight occupants lost control of the vehicle on the N2 near Park Rynie last Saturday.
One man sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on scene.
Another, also a man, sustained critical injuries and was stabilised on scene by IPSS Medical Rescue advanced life support paramedics.
He was then transported to a specialist facility in Durban for further medical attention.
Three other people sustained serious injures and two sustained moderate injuries.
These patients were stabilised and transported by EMRS and various other private services.
IPSS Medical Rescue confirmed that the driver was uninjured in the incident.
Rescue services thanked all who helped, including Park Rynie RTI, Scottburgh Saps, Umzinto K9 and Umdoni Law Enforcement.
