Community garden club launches in Melville

The Melville Sanctuary of Love will host its first community garden club meeting under the name Sowing Seeds of Love at 69 Beach Road, Melville on Saturday, September 13, from 13:00 to 15:00.

Guest speaker Nikki Cruden will talk about the importance of soil before leading a practical demonstration in the new greenhouse.
Each attendee will receive a small plant as a gift. Tea and coffee will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring along a snack to share.
This marks the start of an exciting gardening journey.
Once the crops are ready, the harvest will be shared among the community after Sunday services.
