New pastors ordained at Faith Celebration Centre
Both pastors have served the church for over 32 years.
Ordination is the formal, official process where a church acknowledges a person’s spiritual calling and qualifications to serve as a pastor. Recently, Pastor Ivan Moodley of Faith Celebration Centre ordained Pastors Shan and Shobana Govender.
Both pastors have served the church for over 32 years and are well equipped to fulfil the calling of ministry.
Pastor Shan is currently a director at Massmart and recently returned from Arkansas. He also had a short stint at the company’s World Head Office in Atlanta, Georgia.
Pastor Shan has travelled extensively with Pastor Ivan, locally and abroad. They have opened churches in Germany, conducted ministry in India, and various parts of South Africa.
Pastor Ivan said they both are leaders with exceptional quality, committed to serving the ministry. “A disciplinarian graced with love and compassion. The local church and international ministries have indeed acknowledged their ministry. We congratulate him and his dear wife on this most noble work.”
Pastors Shan and Shobana are blessed with three children and two grandchildren.
