Fundraiser shines light on San culture

The Bendigo Conservancy will host a special fundraising talk by renowned researcher Clive Horlock at the Mbango Retirement Village this Sunday (28th) at 14:30.
Horlock, who has spent much of his career documenting and preserving the culture, history and traditional knowledge of the San people, will present a talk titled: The voice with no words: Takes a deeper look into the spiritual world of the Bushmen.
With expertise in anthropology and ethnography, Horlock is highly respected for his deep understanding of the San way of life and his commitment to raising awareness about their heritage in the modern world. His work highlights survival wisdom that is ageless and of great value to all humanity.
The event promises to be both insightful and inspiring, offering the community an opportunity to support conservation and cultural preservation.
Entry fee is R60 per person, or R50 for pensioners and learners. A licensed bar will be available, along with tea, coffee and cream scones for sale.
