Wheelchairs for charity, thanks to Rotary
The club is always looking to help the community.
The Rotary Club of Shelly Beach was honoured to host district governor (DG) Steve Shone recently.
Club members handed over wheelchairs and walkers to some of their charities, on this occasion Reinhardts Place and Anerley Place (frail care).
This was followed by some wonderful fellowship and a spit braai, in conjunction with the NG church.
The local Rotarians described DG Steve as a true legend and a dedicated Rotarian, thoroughly enjoying his visit and being able to spend time with him.
