Alpha Assembly Church in Marburg celebrates 50th anniversary

Visitors from branches in Kokstad and Pietermaritzburg came to celebrate and worship.

It was a joyous occasion as Alpha Assembly Church in Marburg commemorated half-century last Sunday.

The celebration started with worship songs and guest pastor Cecil Hemero led the service.

Enjoying the occasion are (from left) Estelle Hemero, Olive Lawrence and Pastor Cecil Hemero, the regional chairperson of Assembly of God Association.

Visitors from branches in Kokstad and Pietermaritzburg came to celebrate and worship.

After the service, Pastor Maggie Moonsamy, an elder in church cut the cake.

Once the formalities were concluded, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch and socialised.
