Cancer fundraiser uplifts Scottburgh community
Attendees enjoyed being entertained by South African celeb and comedian, Bash with Tash.
Scottburgh was filled with love, laughter and positive vibes at a super successful cancer fundraiser last Saturday.
The Ultimate Dance Fitness (UDF) group, which has consistently engaged in community upliftment endeavours, had the privilege of hosting this fundraising initiative, in support of the Childhood Cancer foundation (CHOC).

The event was held at the Blue Marlin All-Inclusive Seascape by Dream Resorts, and despite the windy weather, there was an incredible turnout with over 300 supporters.
The regional manager of CHOC, Agie Govender, delivered an informative message highlighting their support for the welfare of children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer and life-threatening blood disorders.

Attendees thoroughly enjoyed being entertained by South African celeb and comedian, Bash with Tash, who left everyone in stitches and interacted well with the crowd.
Many supporters also walked away with fantastic lucky draw prizes which included a five-night stay at any Dream Resort countrywide. This was won by Razia Essop.

“We at UDF are passionate about fundraising, and cancer support has been at the forefront of our initiatives,” said Shereen Paul.
“This fundraiser transcends a mere event, it embodies a celebration of strength, resilience and communities uniting to effect meaningful change. Every bit of support brings us closer to helping those affected by cancer and funding vital initiatives.”
UDF thanks all those who assisted and supported the event.
“Together, we have made a difference.”
