Art by the Sea exhibition now open in Margate
The exhibition can be viewed from Tuesdays to Fridays, between 08:30 and 16:00, and on Saturdays from 08:30 to 14:00.
Local art club, Art by the Sea’s prestigious exhibition is now open to the public – and is not to be missed.
The exhibition, themed Exploring the Old Masters, features a diverse collection of artworks inspired by classical artistic traditions.
Club chairperson Gordon Dinner said the standard of work on display is exceptionally high.
“With the new members who have joined the club, together with the renewed enthusiasm of all the artists, visitors are in for a pleasant surprise,” he said.
The exhibition can be viewed at the Margate Art Museum from Tuesdays to Fridays between 08:30 and 16:00, and on Saturdays from 08:30 to 14:00. The museum is closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays. Entry is free.
