Port Edward gears up for ultimate fishing tournament
Over 100 prizes, a Garmin watch worth R11 499, and a weekend of action-packed fun – are you ready to cast and compete?
The ultimate fishing showdown is coming to The Pont, Port Edward! Anglers are set for a weekend of excitement as The Pont hosts its Ultimate Fishing Tournament, from February 28 to March 1.
The event welcomes both boat and bank anglers, offering more than 100 prizes, including a main prize of a Garmin watch worth R11 499.
Entries are just R50, and participants also receive free resort entry and 25% off all accommodation. A briefing will be held at Paddlers this Friday (27th) at 18:00. The competition runs from 05:00 on Saturday until 09:00 on Sunday.
Organisers promise a full weekend of fishing action, prizes and great vibes.
