Community news and events for the mid-South Coast.
The last newspaper for February. It has been a hot month!
SNAP (Scottburgh Neighbourhood Association and Patrollers) had a successful clean-up along the R102 on Sunday. Shout out to the following people who helped make a difference: Reggie Human, Fans Barnard, Ganesham Pillay, Sada Moodley, Jan Erasmus, Goodman Ncobeni and Muzi from the Blue Marlin Hotel.
Thanks to JVR Fuel Services for sending a driver, bakkie, water and cold drinks; Gladiator Control 2 for providing a bakkie; and Kristen Klerk for a generous donation of equipment, black bags and gloves.
Also, to the kind woman who stopped by with a donation towards water – your kindness did not go unnoticed. A heartfelt thanks to Clr Dana Daniels who spent the entire time getting her hands dirty. Your dedication to the community truly shows. Grateful thanks to committee members, especially chairperson Goodman Ncobeni. Seeing individuals and businesses come together for such an important project is heart-warming. This is what community spirit looks like.
