Champion spellers advance to KZN contest
They were in the top three for the spelling competition.
Port Shepstone Senior Primary (PSSP) congratulates champion spellers, Tristan Moheethlal and Luthando Mthembu who recently advanced to the Ugu District Spelling Bee Contest held in Port Shepstone last Wednesday.
Both learners excelled at the contest and were placed second and third in the district respectively.
Tristan and Luthando will now represent Ugu District at the KZN Provincial Spelling Contest at a date and venue still to be announced.
The final learner leadership was inducted at a special assembly last Friday.
Congratulations to all the young leaders (monitors) selected for the remainder of the academic year.
Sporting highlights to diarise: Saturday, August 20 – U13 soccer tournament hosted by PSSP, Wednesday, August 31 – inter-house athletics, Saturday, September 3 – inter-school athletics hosted by PSSP.
