PS Islamic learner earns spot in International Olympiad
The Olympiad will take place in Colombia.
Port Shepstone Islamic School Grade 10 learner, Muhammad Saleh Zaheer Saied’s performance in the recent National Science Olympiad earned him a place in an International Olympiad taking place in Colombia. Other top performers were Talha Hasan Musa and Grade 7 learner, Faathima Zahra Zaheer Saied.
Volleyball enthusiasts from the Association of Muslim Schools in KwaZulu-Natal converged at the school ground for the annual boys’ volleyball tournament last Saturday.
Durban based Orient Islamic School’s teams emerged as winners in both the U17 and open leg of the tournament.
Grade 12 learners have commenced with their exams and the rest of the school is to follow shortly. They are wished well.
