Creston learners travel around the world

The High School learners are in full exam mode.

Creston College‘s Group 5s have been travelling around the world where they have had wonderful opportunities to explore the cultures, cuisine, landmarks, music, and dancing from each country.

The Junior Primary learners continue to collect bottle tops as part of a recycling initiative.

The current theme is everything ocean-related for Grade 1, and scuba instructors from Aqua Planet visited and taught them all about diving, air pressure, water safety and mostly sharks!

The Grade 4s have been learning about water in South Africa this term for Geography, and to extend this concept they made their own rain catchers and gauges to store water and measure how much rainfall we get each day.

In History, the Grade 4s have been learning about the oldest forms of communication and they created rock paintings using watercolours and sand to give it an aged effect.
