Sheppie High’s first aiders are ready for emergencies

Port Shepstone High school is delighted to now have a dedicated First Aid Team in the learner body.
Rudi Prinsloo from Mi7 National Group, proudly handed over sponsored First Aid shirts and kit to the newly formed First Aider Committee last Thursday.
These learners underwent an intensive course, where they qualified as Level 1 First Aiders. This level one course is a basic first aid course, an introduction to emergency care, equipping learners with the skills to apply and perform basic first aid in emergencies.
These capable learners are now trained to assist with medical difficulties in the classroom and on the sports field. Thanks to Celine Naicker who has led this initiative and supported the learners down this important road.
