Izotsha learners excel in sports

Tuesday picked up the pace with many teams doing exceptionally well against Margate Primary.

Due to inclement weather, outdoor sports fixtures were cancelled at Izotsha Primary School last week.

However, nine learners from Grades 4 to 7 participated in a Maths challenge at Louisiana Primary School. Learners thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Rebecca Boonzaier achieved first position and Kaylee du Plessis achieved second position in the Grade 4 section. The school is proud of their efforts.

The pace picked up last Tuesday, with many teams doing exceptionally well against Margate Primary. The U11 girls hockey team won their match 5-1. They played so well and displayed excellent sportsmanship. The U13 girls hockey team had a well-deserved win of 3-0. The netball girls played hard with the U13A team winning 8-3 and the U13B girls losing 7-8, in a tight match. Kim Peek was extremely proud of her teams. The U11A team lost their match but persevered.

The intermediate and senior phases are working hard at getting through the academic curriculum for the term, in preparation for the upcoming controlled tests.
