Mixed fortunes for Margate Primary’s sports teams

The U13 netball teams tried hard and thoroughly enjoyed their games.

Margate Primary school’s Grades 4 – 7 are well into their controlled tests last week.

On the sporting side, the season ended with mixed fortunes. The U11 girls’ netball teams have done really well and won most of their games.
The U13 netball teams tried really hard and thoroughly enjoyed their games.

Boys hockey teams played against Izotsha and Southcity. There was some exciting action on the sports fields at Suid Natal. The Grades 1 – 3 played well against the opposing teams.
Great team work and determination earned very good results.

Thanks to the coaches for their hard work. From this week, afternoon sport will focus on fitness in preparation for the athletics season.
Congratulations go to Grade 3 educator Clair Stanhope and David Defilippi who were married recently.
