PS Senior Primary promotes good reading habits
Learners and parents were invited to visit the book fair which offered a variety of books for children of all ages.

In an effort to promote reading and foster good reading habits, Port Shepstone Senior Primary welcomed the travelling bookshop, Books2You.
Learners and parents were invited to visit the book fair which offered a variety of books for children of all ages.
On a sporting note, PSSP held its inter-house cross-country recently. Congratulations to Barracuda House for placing first and well done to those learners who participated in the race.
Both learners and educators look forward to the inter-house sports day which will be held on Thursday, August 24.
Additionally, PSSP will be hosting a soccer tournament this Saturday (19th) in which 15 schools will be participating.
In honour of Women’s Month, former PSSP educator and now businesswoman, Pravashnie Rajgopal visited the school to address the learners during a special assembly held last Friday.
She briefed the learners about Women’s Day and emphasised the quote “Wathint’ abafazi, wathint’ imbokotho – You Strike a Woman, You Strike a Rock.” Furthermore, she motivated the girls and encouraged them to be powerful women in the future.
She concluded by advising the learners to choose an affirmation that best describes them and repeat it regularly to counteract negative thoughts. The school thanks Pravashnie for instilling positivity in our learners.
