Jai Hind experiences farm life

Learners were fascinated with the resident turkeys.

Jai Hind Primary School‘s Grade 1 learners could not contain their excitement as they travelled by bus on their first excursion in big school.

Chattering non stop with friends while clutching on tightly to their special lunches, they were eager to get to Fiddlewood Farm in Margate.

At the farm, the learners were given the opportunity to feed and interact with the farm animals. Learners were fascinated with the resident turkeys.

A small hike through the forest to observe plant life and a visit to the dam left the learners with a wealth of information on farm life.

They returned to school with many experiences and stories to share.
