PS Islamic girls excel in soccer tournament
The team was presented with a 'team of the tournament' trophy.
In a thrilling display of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship, PS Islamic School‘s U13 and U15 girls achieved a remarkable feat as they clinched the runners-up position in this year’s Association of Muslim Schools Girls Interschool Soccer tournament, hosted at Orient Islamic School.
The journey to this remarkable achievement was marked by dedication, hard work, and a strong sense of unity that brought these talented young players together. The team’s efforts were not in vain as they did not walk away empty-handed winning the ‘team of the tournament’ trophy.
The Grade 8 class had the privilege of hosting a grandparents day last Saturday at the school hall. The objective was to instill respect, reverence and appreciation to the elderly in a world which sees them as a burden and often neglected. The day was distinct with tears and cheers as learners paid tribute to the warmth and affection showered on them by the elderly over the years. Grandparents are thanked for their attendance.
