PS Primary applauds world dance champ
Sizolwethu Ngidi placed first in the Freestyle Disco Dance category and second in the Slow Dance category.
Port Shepstone Senior Primary is thrilled to share that one of its talented learners, Sizolwethu Ngidi, had participated in the World Freestyle Dance Championships in Blackpool, UK, over the winter holidays and returned as a world champion.
A special assembly was held to commend Sizolwethu on his outstanding achievement, in which he was awarded a certificate of recognition.
Sizolwethu took part in two categories: Slow Dance and Freestyle Dance. He placed second in the Slow Dance category and, in the Freestyle Disco Dance category, secured first place.
This remarkable achievement catapulted him to the title of World Freestyle Champion. His first-place win at the World Championships has earned him an invitation to participate in the IDO World Disco Dance Championships in Mulhëim, Germany, this October.
