PS Islamic’s quiz whizzes impress

The quiz was held at the Orient Islamic School in Durban.

Grade 8 girls, Aminah Khamissa and Mubashira Bapu did Port Shepstone Islamic School proud by making it to the finals of the Association of Muslim Schools Annual Islamic Quiz Contest.

The quiz which was held at the Orient Islamic School in Durban recently saw Ammar Panchbhaya and Zaheer Karodia make it to the semi-finals in the boys’ leg of the event.

Faeez Hoosen and Rihanna Underhill represented the school at the Grade 10 speech contest hosted at the same venue.

The pre-school learners had their first brush with the law as they were enlightened by the Saps on safety and security. The K9 unit had learners all ears as they listened to the amazing work done by the trained dogs in keeping safe in these volatile times.

Grade 12 learners were addressed by representatives from Boston, Eduvos and University of KwaZulu-Natal to help them with their academic choices post-matric.
