It has been a busy month of winter sports fixtures for the learners of Port Edward Primary.
Senior netball, hockey and rugby players participated in a number of both mid-week and weekend matches, with their second term sport season ending last Friday, as they now prepare for mid-year exams.
However, the foundation phase learners continue with their training, and were thrilled to play mid-week matches against Suid Natal Primary last week.
Grade 1, 2 and 3 learners also participated in Suid Natal’s annual winter sports day last Saturday.
The school’s fun day is this Saturday (7th). The foundation phase learners will be showing off their talent on the hockey and soccer fields, and there will be numerous food stalls and other entertainment on offer for visitors and spectators.
