Restaurant of the Week: Welcome to old Milan

You don’t have to fly to Italy to enjoy Vecchia Milano's authentic fare.

LITERALLY translated, Vecchia Milano means ‘old Milan’, a place close to chef and pizaiolo, Andrea Pambieri’s heart. He spent most of his childhood there and has successfully recreated these tastes by importing a lot of the ingredients from Italy and locally sourcing only the highest quality fresh ingredients.

There are several exciting new items on the menu, including appetising starters and delicious pasta dishes.

New starters include fried calamari with vegetables, succulent meatballs in Napolitana sauce and bruschetta (tomatoes, gorgonzola, vegetables and porcini mushrooms). You might want to try the new pasta fare such as the traditional basil and Napolitana sauce, penne alfredo or the pasta arabiata.

Delicious dishes will be featured on the specials board and changed regularly.

Diners will be pleased to know that there is no corkage fee.

Don’t forget to ask your waiter about the decadent home-made desserts!

Enjoy real Italian food right in the heart of Margate.

Trading hours daily (in season) are 11.30am-2pm for lunch and dinner from 5.30pm.
