DYING can be a very expensive experience for those who are left to wind up an estate. This was explained by a member who gave a most interesting and informative talk about what is an inevitable occurrence. She had had the experience of performing this duty a number of times and knew all the problems that can arise. People were advised to keep all documents, including tax returns, even if you are not liable for tax, in a safe place known to the family.

A visit to India was related by a member who had recently been there and the main point was that you put your life in the hands of the bus driver when travelling, as they just go where they want to and this includes driving in the wrong lane against the oncoming traffic!
