YOU can’t really know the depth of your own character until trouble comes your way. And you know, one way or another, trouble is bound to show up in your workplace.
When it does, don’t get caught up in the moment. I know it would be so easy to react as the world wants you to react, but don’t do that. You’re running a marathon, after all, not a sprint – and you’re running that race for your Lord. So work on the endurance and don’t give up.
God is preparing you for something – something really important to Him – and He wants you to become perfect and complete for the tasks He has for you later on. Yes, your faith is being tested, but He promises you can survive the bleak because He is strengthening you.
So at work today, don’t fall apart. Be joyful when trouble comes your way!
You can handle it!
Prayer: “Dear God, continue to renew my mind, cleanse my heart, and make me a new creature in You. Go before me and set the stage so that, when I meet trouble, the Holy Spirit will be in my midst and will convict my thoughts, demeanor, attitude, and stamina. Today at work, let me walk boldly prepared to endure positively as Your child. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!”
Reading: Philippians 4:13 (NLT) ‘For I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength’.
James 1:2(b)-4 (NLT) ‘When troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing’.
