Jessica Naicker bags award for serving community

The award is for women who dedicate their lives to a purpose of serving the community.

The founder of Ignite Revolution, Jessica Naicker recently walked away with the Women of Wonder ‘I conquer’ award at the fifth annual KZN WOW Awards 2022.

Naicker was awarded at a ceremony held in Umhlanga, Durban on Friday last week.
She said the Women of Wonder ‘I conquer’ award is for women who dedicate their lives to a purpose of serving the community, their families and children.

She added that these women have given up on their careers for the wellbeing of society as a whole.

“They serve the community, they live through social responsibility programmes and welfare. These are extraordinary women to be recognised and shown appreciation for their continuous outstanding contribution to the upliftment of others. The WOW Awards aim to bring together influential women who have continued to imbibe great values and display great humility, continue to lead, empower and embody the qualities of leadership,” said Naicker.

Naicker added that winning an award of this magnitude and sharing the platform with Zorah Sooliman (co-founder of the Gift of the Givers) and meeting Dr Imtiaz Sooliman was an extremely huge honour.

“In all things we give all honour and glory to Jesus for he alone makes it all possible. This award for the entire Ignite team is a culmination of hard work, self sacrifices, perseverance and dedication to the work of the kingdom. We commit to continue to serve our vulnerable communities with love and dignity. We invite all of you to partner with us on this journey to help those who need it most,” she said, adding that Ignite can be contacted on 078 651 4574 or email info@igniterevolution.co.za
