Gamalakhe police invites the public to be part of a joint 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign which takes place on Saturday, December 3.

The event under the theme “Not in my name” will start at the Gamalakhe police station to the Qinabout NPCC Community Hall in Ward 26 from 8am.

The awareness event is organised by the Gamalakhe police station, the CPF, Gamalakhe Concerned Members, and Operation Sukuma Sakhe; and is aimed at finding initiatives to combat crimes against women and children.

The organisers said people are encouraged to wear a black T-shirt.
