New PR councillor for Ugu

Ugu Speaker of Council, Sizwe Ngcobo, welcomed Mazubane on behalf of council and wished her well in her new responsibilities.

Ugu District Municipality recently swore in Tompela Octavia Mazubane from Betania as a Proportional Representative (PR) councillor.
Mazubane replaced Cllr Sibongile Mteshane.

According to the municipality, Mazubane swore under oath to serve the communities of Ugu with diligence.

It added that Mazubane vowed to carry forward the directive given to her by the district’s council in line with the municipality’s vision and mission.
