Developing netball in KZN

The KZN Netball Federation is a member of the KZN Sports Confederation that governs sports in the province, and is also affiliated with Netball South Africa.

The KZN Netball Federation which recently held the KZN Netball Provincial Championships, is a non-profit organisation responsible for governing, promoting and developing netball in the province.

It is made of 10 executives who are elected every four years and is decentralised into 10 districts and one metro.

There is also the KZN Netball Super League which is a league for men and women in South Africa where power, pace, speed, elevation and total action is always on display.

The vision for the Super League is to develop netball in all spheres from the players to the officials. KZN Netball regards Super League as a vehicle for total development.

This means Super League is used as a means to develop players from local to international level. It is also used to develop coaches and umpires until they become national and international assets.

Super League is also used to provide a platform for young people, male and females, to stay away from social ills and be dedicated to a healthy lifestyle.
