Hibberdene police are investigating two cases of missing people and are asking for the public’s help to locate them.
According to Port Shepstone police spokesperson, Captain Petros Mpinge, Anele Shebi (15) left her home in Stickfarm, Hibberdene in November 2022 after she allegedly went to a friend’s home and did not return.
Mpinge said the 15-year-old has allegedly been seen in and around Mtwalume and Hibberdene.
“She is a minor and the public is requested to contact the police if they see her,” said Mpinge.
He added that another young man, Mondli Buhle Mzelemu, who was visiting family near Mahwaqa Store in Hibberdene in December 2022 left without informing anyone on December 1.
Mpinge said the 21-year-old has two silver ‘W’ teeth in front and at the time of his disappearance was wearing a maroon Relay T-shirt, Adidas flip-flops and multi-coloured shorts.
