Actor to host Freshers Party in Gamalakhe
"In hosting this event, we are trying to resuscitate the night life in Top Thokoza," said the organisers.
Kaylin Soobramanian better-known as ‘Thu Sheleni’ on the award-winning soap drama, Imbewu, will be the host of the Freshers Party to be held at Top Thokoza in Gamalakhe on April 1 .
According to the organisers, the party will feature Omagoqa, Anticipated sounds, Rush Hour Sa, Sakhile (Inja yeTheme), La Ace, Silverstone, Deeco, Rangergee, Fhiso, King Sam, Thuluzy, Epic, Afro King and King Bhutie.
“In hosting this event, we are trying to resuscitate the night life in To Thokoza. We are aware that a number of people dread attending events here but on the night of the Freshers Party, Top Thokoza will not be the same. We will make sure that the scene and setting in the venue is something else on the day,” said the organisers.
They added that they also have an idea of hosting a ‘Morning Bang’ after the Freshers Party.
They described a ‘Morning Bang’ as a party after the party.
“Whenever I host an event, I always host Morning Bang and this time around I was thinking that we can have a studio session along with the artists that were booked for the Freshers Party. So if you are a music producer, whether you were featured or not on the Freshers Party poster, the Morning Bang experience would be a great platform for one to socialise and network with other artists and producers. Maybe we can also have an entry fee to avoid large groups of people,” said one of the organisers.
