Man sought in fraud investigation
A fraud case was opened in May 2022 after a local woman fraudulently extorted cash from someone known to her.
A fraud case has been opened at SAPS Port Shepstone following a cash deposit which was made by a female complainant from Bizana who wanted to purchase a vehicle in March 2022.
Port Shepstone police spokesperson, Captain Petros Mpinge, said the banking details were not for the company and the ‘seller’ has since absconded.
He added that a fraud case has been opened at SAPS Port Shepstone, saying that the (man pictured) may be able to help in the matter.
Meanwhile, Mpinge said in another incident, a fraud case was opened in May 2022 after a local woman fraudulently extorted cash from someone known to her.
He said police are requesting the assistance of the public in locating the people (pictured) who can assist in the two separate fraud investigations.
