The KAP sani2c Adventure started in Himeville at Glencairn Farm and headed to Mackenzie Club in Ixopo yesterday. With beautiful weather and a warmer night than the usual for those spending the night in tents, the event started two weeks earlier than usual this year.

The riders will arrive in Scottburgh on Friday, April 28 after doing 265km over three days. The race version started yesterday and the winning teams are expected from about midday on Saturday at the Scottburgh Golf Club. Founder of the KAP sani2c, Glen Haw, said that the 19th edition of this iconic mountain bike race is set to yet again be better than the last, with good weather in store: “We look forward to the finish at Scottburgh Golf Club and thank the Scottburgh community for their support and involvement over the years.”
