Foundation gives food parcels to college students
The visit was on the evening of Freedom Day.
The Mzwandile Mkhwanazi Foundation recently visited Esayidi TVET College, Gamalakhe Campus to hand food parcels to NSFAS excluded students.
The visit was on the evening of Freedom Day, and the founder Mzwandile Mkwanazi came as a Good Samaritan to rescue the students from the hunger they face at their institution where more than (90%) of students are allegedly not receiving their NSFAS allowances.
Some of the students have had to deregister from school, while others have had to look for other avenues, knocking on various doors to get the assistance they require.
After having met with SASCO chairperson, Sphelele Owen Cele and Thobile Xhilithole (SASCO secretary) Mkwanazi opened up his foundation’s doors and promised the students assistance.
