Man found with crystal meth

The matter was remanded to June 28 and the accused remains in police custody.

A 44-year-old man recently appeared in the Harding Magistrate’s Court on charges of possession of drugs.
Port Shepstone police spokesperson, Captain Petros Mpinge said members of Harding SAPS Task team were recently conducting patrols when they spotted a suspicious-looking man near Mazekhele.

“After searching the man, packets of crystal meth to the value of R1 400 were found in his possession. He was arrested for possession of drugs and appeared in the Harding Magistrate’s Court. The matter was remanded to June 28 and the accused remains in police custody,” said Mpinge
