Off Ramp Experience hailed a success

Organisers of the inaugural Off Ramp Experience have hailed the event held at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre recently, as a successful one.
The event featured big names such as Mondli Ngcobo, Nkosazana Daughter, Mnqobi Yazo, Naima Kay, Khetha Yalo, Vusi Mahlasela, Mlindo the Vocalist, Andiswa Live, and more.
The hosts of the Off Ramp Experience were Sizwe Mdlalose and Hope Mbele.
Msomi said the art industry benefitted most from the Off Ramp Experience, saying that 40% of the artists were local, and the team managing the event was local – mostly from Umzumbe Municipality and Ray Nkonyeni Municipality.
“Our suppliers were all local, everything needed has been derived in KwaZulu-Natal,” said Msomi.
Meanwhile, Sithembiso Shazi who attended the Off Ramp Experience said to this very day, he cannot ‘shut up’ about how much fun he had at the event.
“I got to dress up, dance and have the time of my life. The VIP section was out of this world, I got to eat some of the most delicious food while rubbing shoulders with celebrities. I also managed to bump into people I had not seen in forever and for me that was the cherry on top,” said Shazi, adding that he cannot wait for the second edition.
