Gamalakhe Health Centre honours retired nursing staff
Deputy manager of nursing, Thoko Ntuli thanked the retired staff and the current staff for their dedication to providing quality healthcare services.
The Gamalakhe Community Health Centre recently celebrated all retired nursing staff at a function, for their contribution to the Department of Health in previous years.
According to the centre’s PRO, Lifa Radebe all nursing staff that had retired between 2018 and 2023 were invited.
He said the main aim was to commend them for their contribution. The deputy manager of nursing, Thoko Ntuli thanked the retired staff and the current staff for their dedication to providing quality healthcare services to the community of Gamalakhe and the catchment areas.
Radebe said the retired nursing staff consisted of nurses that worked in the Gamalakhe Community Health Centre, Shelly Beach Clinic, Port Edward Clinic, Margate Clinic, Braemar Clinic, and Ntabeni Clinic.
He added that the centre’s CEO, Dr Frank Shongwe said not a single retired staff member had a complaint for treating a patient badly that his office or the PRO’s office had to attend to.
Radebe said Shongwe wished the nursing staff well in their retirement.
