Sports day for Ugu staff

Ugu employees battled it out in soccer matches, netball, and more.

Ugu District Municipality hosted a Sports and Braai Day at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre recently.

Ugu municipal spokesperson France Zama said the event served as a catalyst to reinforce unity and reignite team spirit among employees.

He said they are certain that the Ugu Sports and Braai event played a major role in cementing the good working relationship between labour and the leadership of the municipality.

“One would have noticed that the leadership of the municipality has made remarkable strides towards maintaining labour stability in the municipality. And this will have a major contribution towards improving our delivery of water and sanitation services,” said Zama.
