Women’s Day celebration in aid of animals
The event is hosted by GA’MOS events industries Africa and the Wild Coast Sun in aid of the Southern African Animal Cancer Association (SAACA).
Bring out your best derby outfit and enjoy a wonderful morning in celebration of Women’s Day with Mrs South Africa 2023, Palesa Matjekane at the Wild Coast Sun Resort on Saturday, July 29.
The event is hosted by GA’MOS events industries Africa and the Wild Coast Sun in aid of the Southern African Animal Cancer Association (SAACA), an organisation fighting for animal health.
Also, the Women’s Day celebration is aimed at commemorating the achievements and resilience of women while fostering a spirit of empowerment, inspiration, and unity.
According to the organisers, the event will bring together esteemed women from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful discussions, gain insights from accomplished speakers, and connect and build valuable relationships with like-minded individuals.
Southern African Animal Cancer Association (SAACA) provincial director, Madeleine Pretorius, said guest speakers of the day will include Mrs South Africa Palesa Matjekane, ‘The power lies in the Pack’, CEO of Southern Africa Animal Cancer Association (Munnik Marais), and SAACA provincial director, Pretorius, Bianca Candido (Step into your fierce), Tabby Madondo (Sisterhood and Wellness), Kirsty Hooper (Mind over matter), and a performance by the Gideon Foundation drum performance group
She added that SAACA is a member of the Cancer Alliance in South Africa, adding that a gift bag with surprises will be given to attendees of the women’s day celebration.
