Prayer invite from Umbango Temple
The temple's annual Maha Navarathri prayers will start from Sunday, October 15 up until Monday, October 23.
The Umbango Sri Siva Soobramoniar Temple warmly invites you and your families to a Purtassi Prayer on October 14 (last Purtassi Saturday).
Hawan will commence at 3pm followed by bhajans in praise to Lord Venkateswara. Prasadam will be served and all are welcome.
The temple will also be observing its annual Jhunda prayer on Sunday, October 15. Hawan will commence at 8am followed by the Jhunda prayer at 10am.
Bhajans will be rendered by Shree Hanuman Prathanay Kootum from Durban, all are welcome to attend lunch and prasadam will be provided.
The temple’s annual Maha Navarathri prayers will start from Sunday, October 15 up until Monday, October 23. Prayer times will be 6pm daily, prasadam will be served. Devotees are most welcome to contribute and take part in the daily obayams.
The temple will be observing its annual Maha Saraswathi prayer on Monday, October 23. Hawan will begin at 6pm followed by a special service and tying of strings by Gurukkul Mahalingam Iyer.
The monthly Muruga Shasti prayer will be observed on Friday, October 20 at 6.30pm. All are welcome to attend the prayers.
