PS Secondary matrics make memories for life

Port Shepstone Secondary learners enjoyed their matric dinner and dance.

Port Shepstone Secondary’s matric learners made memories to cherish at their matric dinner and dance held in the school hall recently.

The entrance was transformed into sheer ambience with a designer fairylight dome coupled with red carpet and stanchion rope.

Grand entrances began at 17:00 with crowd cheering, bedazzling lighting and photographs as their profiles were read over the mic with their favourite music choices strumming in the background.

The learners waltzed onto the 360° stage and enjoyed the regal splendour in the hall. Savoury platters as starters whet their appetites, followed by a sumptuous dinner and delectable desserts. They danced to the tunes of a professional DJ on a dance floor with LED laser lights and the effects of the fog machine.

The acting principal, Yogavani Chetty, school management team, the core committee headed by Melisha Bassdev Mothilall, and staff together with the school governing body worked as a team to ensure that they did not fail their learners, giving them all the spoils and glamour they deserve.
