WKF Ugu Karate held a successful summer tournament and KZN qualifications at the Margate School of Sport last Sunday.
Semi-contact dojos in the area attended the tournament including dojos from Scottburgh.
It was an action-packed day of karate with a vast amount of talent on display.
The tournament is held to develop karate in the region and karateka from white to black belts showcased their talents, with a large number of medals being won.
Ugu Karate thanks Hellen Cele and the other representatives from the Department of Sport for their attendance, as well as parents and karateka for their support, to ensure that karate continues to grow and develop in the Ugu region.
