Gamalakhe karateka heads to Japan
The KZN Department of Sports, Arts and Culture recently held a send-off function for the province's karatekas.
Gamalakhe’s Senpai Andile Manci will be competing at the 13th World Karate Tournament in Tokyo, Japan from November 17 to 19.
Manci will be among 11 male South African karatekas who will compete in the tournament.
The KZN Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture recently held a send-off function for the province’s karatekas who are set represent the country in the upcoming tournament.

The farewell event was led by acting head of the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture, Dr Thobile Sifunda at the Coastlands Hotel in Durban last Friday.
A total of 11 male and four female athletes will represent KZN.
