New-car win blessing for woman’s family

It was a day of great excitement at Hibberdene SuperSpar and Tops after Olga Roux became the ultimate winner of the Spar Polo-Lony competition last Friday.

During the festivities, the public was invited to join the lucky draw to witness Roux winning her new set of wheels.
Speaking to Fever, Roux said after her family lost their car six years ago, the car she won is a blessing to them.
“I am so elated and thankful. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity. I have been so nervous and praying for it, I can only thank God that I won and he has blessed my family. This is a life-changing gift. Although I believed I was going to win, yes, I had faith but I had a bit of doubt. I was only relieved when I saw the key. In a financial way, this car will change our lives, and make everything better. We lost our car about six years ago and now we have this blessing. It will definitely change everything for us. Thanks to God, Spar, and my family,” said Roux.
The public who witnessed the giveaway were treated to cake and snacks.
BJ Pretorius of Hibberdene SuperSpar said they wish Roux many safe miles and once again thank all who participated in the action, especially the five finalists.
