Musical concert offers melodic feast

South Coast musician Mthandeni ‘The Pragmatist’ Mkhize will host a musical extravaganza titled ‘The Sounds of the Season’ at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre on December 22.
Mkhize said the musical show will aim to excite the audience with a melodic feast, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.
He said the show promises to be more than just a display of musical talent, saying that it will be a communal celebration, bringing people together to embrace the spirit of Christmas and the joy it brings.
He added that one of the biggest highlights in his musical career includes the 2022 extended play (EP) titled ‘A Cry for Restoration’.
“The EP has six evocative songs such as Sekusile, Ongalinganiswa, Uyinkosi engcwele, Watshepahala and Siyakutusa. The EP showcases my musical technique and commitment to delivering a compelling spiritual and emotional resonance experience with my audience. Everyone is welcome to join my team and I as we come together to rejoice and express gratitude to the Lord for his blessings throughout the year,” he said.
