Laptops donated to St Martin’s
Five laptops were awarded to the top five matric IT learners and 10 were donated to the school.
St Martin De Porres School received a generous donation of 15 laptops and a new inverter from Bet Software last Tuesday.
The school had publicly expressed its dire need for new laptops, particularly for the learning of IT and South African Sign Language.
Five laptops were awarded to the top five matric IT learners and 10 were donated to the school. The laptops were also supplemented with keyboards.
The inverter was a pleasant surprise as the school was only expecting laptops.
This donation came about after an internal discussion at Bet Software where team members were encouraged to nominate schools that they believed would most benefit.
The principal, Dion Davey, is grateful for their donation.
