The sounds of bikes revving up South Coast streets last Saturday, was heard by many as bikers converged, clad in denim and leather adorned with patches and badges to Ristany’s Pub and Restaurant is Shelly Beach.
Bikers in their numbers got together at the Vet Pret Bike Jol hosted by the restaurant and supported by Mac’ Familia Margate Bike Club. Bikers enjoyed games, raffles and an auction was held – all in aid of charity.
Biker Carl Day-Garden of Max Familia Margate won the best classic bike on show.
Another Vet Pret Bike Jol is planned at the same venue on May 4. Organisers said the next event will attract many more bikers to the South Coast.
