After making a brief appearance on Mzansi Magic’s, S’phiwo, actress Nolwazi Keithlean Mfeka is currently working on a new production that will be aired soon.
Originally from the Gcilima area, Mfeka said her passion for the performing arts started when she was eight years old.

Mfeka said she can’t reveal much about the new project as yet.
Speaking about her role in S’phiwo, she said she played Phaledi.
“I found her loving and caring, attributes I have as a person. Working with that production, I found it amazing. All I could think about was getting more work in the same environment. To be honest, I enjoy being on set and working with other artists,” she said.
The former Pinetown Girls’ High School learner said this was her first big successful audition in television.
She explained that she had previously worked in theatre with the legendary Mbongeni Ngema.
Mfeka said she did a stage play for Sarafina at the Durban Playhouse.
“After the Sarafina production, we had different jobs with Baba Ngema. On top of that, we recorded songs with Ngema. Every time I get news about a certain role, the first thing I do is pray,” she said.
She added that once she is done shooting the new production, she will be able to share more about it.
