Track Torque: Runaway victory for Max in Jeddah
The hero of the race and driver of the day was 18-year-old Brit, Oliver Bearman (Ferrari).
Max Verstappen (Red Bull) drove an excellent race on Saturday to win the Saudi Arabia GP from his teammate Sergio Perez by 13.06 seconds.
It was Verstappen’s 100th podium in his short career, with 56 of these being converted to wins.
Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) was the first of the opposition cars, nearly 19 seconds behind, in third spot.
Next up was Oscar Piastri (McLaren Mercedes) followed three seconds behind by the wily old fox, Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin).
George Russell was the first Mercedes home, by far, in sixth position.

He came in just three seconds behind Russell in seventh place.
Bearman had replaced Carlos Sainz (Ferrari), who had an appendix problem, and he excelled in his first ever F1 race.
In eighth place was Lando Norris (McLaren), closely followed a mere 1.5 seconds later by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).
The final point scoring position was taken by Nico Hulkenberg (Haas), in tenth spot.
