The Ugu District police commissioner, Major General Sethenya Nxamagele, thanked police members under her command, Ray Nkonyeni Municipality’s Traffic Law Enforcement and personnel from the disaster management centre who participated in a fun run held at Marburg Sports Complex last Wednesday.
The members ran 5km and 10km distances. Nxamagele said she was excited about the success of this event and thanked God for blessing their event with good weather.
“I thank all our sponsors for whatever they contributed to the success of our event. I thank all the Saps members, Ray Nkonyeni Law Enforcement officers, as well as Ugu Disaster Management officers who took part in this event,” said Nxamagele.
Nxamagele handed over trophies and medals to all the winners. She thanked them for their hard work and wished them all the best in their future fun runs.
